As a part of celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence, and for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, a programme will be held at 10:00 am on 12th August 2022 at World War II Museum, Kisama, Kohima, where the National Flag will be hoisted by the Chief Minister, Nagaland.

Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, IAS has informed that the State level function for the celebration of 75th Independence Day shall be held at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza on 15th August 2022. All the Officers and Staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat are directed to attend the programme positively. The staff may use the Secretariat buses, which will start from their respective pick-up points at 8:00 AM.
