The 76th Independence Day Celebration at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima was also marked with cultural and entertainment presentations by different cultural troupes, students and departments.

The evening programme of the 76th Independence Day celebration at Secretariat Plaza Kohima was held with Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, IAS as the Guest of Honor.

With the rest of the country, Wakching sub-division under Mon observed Independence Day at SDO(C) office chamber on 15th Aug 2022. James Renbi kikon NCS SDO (C) Wakching hoisted national flag and took salute from Nagaland police.

76th Independence Day was celebrated at Pfutsero town sports complex with MLA and Chairman DPDB Phek, Kezhienyi Khalo as the special guest on 15th Aug, 2022. 

The special guest unfurled the National flag and took Rashtriya salute from nine parade contingents and read out Independence Day message.
