Government of India has renewed the Insurance scheme for the Health Workersfighting COVID-19 under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package with effect from 24.04.2021 for a period of 180 days.

In view of detection and confirmation of COVID-19 positive case and in the larger interest of Public health and safety, DC Wokha ordered the sealing of House No.112 at Etsuchukha Colony, below National Highway 61, Wokha has hereby sealed with effect from 10th May 2021, till further order.

World Red Cross Day was observed at Wokha on 8th May 2021 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Jean Henry Dunant, the founder of Red Cross Society.
