The Tuensang District Task Force held a meeting at DC Conference Hall on 24th of August 2020. Kumar Ramnikant IAS, DC & Chairman DTF chaired the meeting. 

The Medical Department reported on the random test of high risk individuals wherein two COVID positive cases were detected. It was also reported that all primary contacts were traced and all necessary precautionary measures taken.

In the interest of public health and safety and in exercise of powers conferred under Section 30(1), (2) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman District Task Force on COVID - 19, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued order an sealing of the following houses with immediate effect for a period of 14 (fourteen) days or till further order:

1.         House no. 129 - ward, High School B (Middle Sector)

Addl. Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has notified that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at the following locations viz.
