ADC JALUKIE NOTIFIES ON IMPORT AND SLAUGHTERING OF PIGS
In pursuance to the notification received from the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Govt. of Nagaland and in view of the reported outbreak of African Swine Fever and high mortality of pigs in the neighbouring States, ADC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang in a circular has informedto all concerned that import and slaughtering of pigs for human consumption within Jalukie Sub-Division is hereby banned with immediate effect.

LONGLENG TOWN COUNCIL BANS TOTAL USE OF SINGLE-USE PLASTICS
To tackle the menace of plastic and the serious environment and ecological posed by the rampant use of plastic the ADC & Administrator of Longleng Town Council (LTC) D. Robin in a notification has banned all single-use of plastics in Longleng town with immediate effect. Therefore, the following "Single-Use Plastics" will be totally banned in the town.
POISONOUS MUSHROOM CLAIMS TWO LIVES
A family of four members at Bhandari town from Yimza Village, consumed wild ground Mushrooms which turned out to be poisonous and were admitted to Christian Medical Centre (CMC) Vankhosung, Wokha on 03.05.2020.
Their 12 years old son a student of class 7 was stated to have died on the evening of 3rd May 2020 and the mother Wobeni Kikon died the next day on 4th May 2020.
