Commissioner & Secretary Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Dr. P.J. Antony has informed that the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat will be organizing a function to commend the services of the Legislators' Forum on AIDS (LFA) which had wound up its functioning formally in June, 2020.
The function to be chaired by the Speaker NLA, Sharingain Longkumer will be held on Friday, 23rd October, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in the Conference Hall of the Assembly Secretariat, Kohima.
The Information Technology & Communication Department in a notification informed that on the recommendation of the empanelment committee meeting held on 3rd September 2020, 14 (fourteen) IT firms are empanelled for a period of 2 years for supply of IT equipment and accessories.

“A total of 119 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 20 in Kohima, 90 in Dimapur, 5 in Mon and 4 in Tuensang. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 8,139.

A has issued press release stating that Khuochiezie, (Local Ground) Kohima is requisitioned for parking and deployment of vehicles engaged for the conduct of Bye-Election to the 14 Southern Angami I Assembly Constituency 2020 from 26th October 2020 onwards till 10th November 2020.
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima has issued an order stating that in light of the conduct of the Bye-Election to the 14 Southern Angami I (ST) AC during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in order to ensure all election related activities are in compliance of the various guidelines on COVID-19 issued by the Election Commission of India (ECI) and the State Government vide Order No.
