Lidi Kro-U was established in the year 2012 with the aim of preserving and promoting the rich culture and traditions of Nagaland, with special emphasis on the Angami Naga culture. In November 2022, Lidi Kro-U was featured in the 95th episode of Mann Ki Baat, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the organization for its work towards the promotion of the rich Naga culture and heritage.

In pursuance to State Government notification declaring all Educational Institutions, Government and Private Health establishments as Tobacco Free, National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP), Nagaland conducted joint enforcement drive in eleven (11) NTCP districts on 9th May 2023.

District Planning Officer & Member Secretary DPDB Tseminyu, Vilhouhunuo Sachu has informed all the concerned members that the monthly meeting of the District Planning Development Board has been re-scheduled to 12th May 2023 at 11 A.M. in Logwesunyu Village Council Hall, Tsogin Range.

All the DPDB members and officers of the District have been requested to note the changes and make it convenient to attend the meeting positively.

Deputy Commissioner Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma has notified under Section 133 of CrPC and to curb the challenges of Substance/ Drug abuse in the district, that all the pharmacies/ Drug Store in Mon District have been strictly directed to install CCTV Camera with proper recording mechanism at the earliest.
