WORLD RABIES DAY OBSERVED AT KIPHIRE
Awareness on Rabies and free Anti Rabies vaccination drives was conducted at District Veterinary Hospital, Kiphire on 28th September 2021 under the theme " Rabies: Facts, not Fear". Chief Veterinary & AH Officer Kiphire, Dr. Tsilise Sangtam, stated that every year the Nation celebrates Rabies Day on 28th September as it marks the death anniversary of French chemist and microbiologist, Louis Pasteur, who first developed rabies vaccine.
