In Pursuant to the detection of African Swine Fever (ASF) in various locations of Kohima district, DC Kohima Shanava C IAS has notified the following areas as Infected Zones and Surveillance Zones.

Deputy Commissioner Tuensang KUMAR RAMNIKANT, IAS has issued a traffic advisory stating that because of the damage to Aoyung Bailey Bridge, km 18, Tuensang- Mon road due to a massive landslide on 25th July 2022, all road communication has been temporarily blocked.

In supersession to the earlier circular for the meeting of 4th District Planning & Development Board, Tseminyu District, Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi IAS informed all DPDB members that the meeting time has been postponed to 12:00 noon with no change of date and venue.

As a part of the celebration of "Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya, Power @ 2047" under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) "Bijli Mahotsav and Ujjala Divas" is being organised all over the country from 25th to 30th July 2022. Tseminyu District will hold the programme on 28th July 2022 at Tseminyu village at 10 AM and Tesophenyu village at 1:00 PM respectively with R.

The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India will interact with handicrafts artisans through a programme organized by Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Handicrafts Service Centre, Kohima in association with DIC Chozuba at Vamuzo’s Memorial Hall at 11:00 AM on 28th July 2022.
