STATUS OF JAL JEEVAN MISSION IN NAGALAND

Jal Jeevan Mission under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation aims to provide drinking water supply to the rural households through Functional Household Tap Connection ( FHTC) by 2024. The Mission was announced by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on the 73rd Independence Day in 2019.

DC MON ISSUES ADVISORY

In view of the RCC bridge at Chunrei Nullah located below 100 RCC GREF Camp, Mon to Aboi road being partially washed away due to incessant rain, DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS, on 25th May 2022, issued an advisory strictly prohibiting plying of heavy vehicle, buses, trucks, etc along the route till further orders.
