As Announced on Independence Day, 2020

Principal Director, Directorate of School Education, Shanavas C, IAS has notified that the "State Centre of Nagaland Languages" is set up under the Directorate of School Education, by re-deploying all the existing officers and staff of Language section.

The notification is issued with the approval of the Cabinet vide Cabinet Cell Memo No.CAB-2/2013 dated 26.04.2017.

The State level function for the celebration of the 75th Independence Day being held at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on 15th August 2021 (Sunday), 08:45 AM onwards, will be live streamed on the MyGovNagaland's YouTube Channel.

The State Government with a view to  intensively review the steps being taken to manage the Covid-19 pandemic at the district level  has assigned a senior administrative officer along with a senior officer from the Health & Family Welfare Department to each of the Districts in the State.

The State level function for celebration of 75th Independence Day shall be held at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza on 15/08/2021. The National Day Celebration shall be attended compulsorily by all the officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat.

Principal Secretary, Power Department, KD Vizo, through a press release has stated that the Department will be making special effort to handle power theft and take measures to improve revenue collection in Dimapur District.
