Dy. Chief Minister, Home, Road & Bridges, Y. Patton graced the Golden Jubilee celebration of the New Riphyim Students’ Union ((NRSU) as the special guest held at New Riphyim village on 19th December 2020.

Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister also in-charge of Home and Roads and Bridges, Y.Patton, inaugurated the RCC Girder Bridge on River Chathe Diphupar 'A' behind Referral Hospital, Dimapur and also the RCC Girder Bridge on River Dhansari at Nagarjan Dimapur on 21st December 2020.

The University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Education, Government of India directed to refund  fees for the First Year of Under- Graduate and Post- Graduate Students of the Universities for the Session 2020- 21 in View of COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Urban Development Department, Nagaland in a notification dated 6th December 2020 informed that in pursuance to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India order dated 13th February 2020, using of flex banners/ boards/ posters by departments/ institutions/ government agencies in government offices during functions/ programmes, etc. has been totally banned with immediate effect.
