A two-day online training of teachers on Adolescence Education Programme (AEP) was conducted on 25th and 26th August, 2022, jointly organised by the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) and the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), Kohima at the Conference Hall, NBSE Kohima.

The Department of Youth Resources & Sports informed that it will be observing the National Sports Day on 29th August 2022 to mark the tradition of Sports in India, and as a tribute to Hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima Shanavas C, IAS has informed that in view of the heavy traffic congestion in and around Kohima town, especially during peak traffic hours, entry of heavy goods vehicles (trucks/dumpers) into Kohima town has been strictly prohibited from 6:00 AM till 7:00 PM. 

Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, IAS has informed that the District Planning & Development Board of Tseminyu District for the month of August 2022 will be held on 30th August 2022 at 12 noon in the Official Chamber of Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu.
