FINANCE DEPARTMENT NOTIFIES ON MORTGAGE RELATING TO CROP LOANS
Finance Department Nagaland has issued a notification dated 9th September 2022 stating that in the exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, the Government of Nagaland has remitted with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette the whole amount of stamp duty chargeable on all instruments of mortgage relating to crop loans.
