DoSE TO ORGANIZE SPECIAL ADMISSION DRIVE

The Department of School Education has stated that there is a moderate increase in dropout rate of students during the year 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and in order to address the issue, the department has extended the timeline for admissions to all classes up to 13th August 2021 and is organising a Special Admission Drive from 5th July 2021 to 13th August 2021.

NSCW APPEALS FOR SAFETY & DIGNITY OF WOMEN

The Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW), appealed to all citizens to ensure and secure safety and dignity of women in Nagaland in a press release. Chairperson, NSCW, KhrienuoTachu, stated that crime against women, especially domestic violence, sexual harassment and mental violence against women are on the rise, more so amid the pandemic, within the state.

VACCINATION DRIVE ON COVID-19 CARRIED OUT AT PUNGRO VILLAGE

 

 

Medical team led by Dr.Siku and Dr.K.Nakhro and in presence of ADC, Pungro, AbhinavShivam, IAS carried out a sensitizationprogramme on 3rd July 2021 at Pungro village, Kiphire.

It was followed by a vaccination session where a total of 103 beneficiaries were vaccinated during the drive. The team has also scheduled a program to cover Shorih ward in the later part of the day.

DoSE ISSUESDIRECTIVES ON SUBMISSION OF REPRESENTATIONS

The Directorate School Education has notified for the information of all employees serving under the department of school education that submission of petitions/representations by employees directly to higher authorities by-passing the prescribed channel of communication is viewed seriously by the department and appropriate disciplinary action shall be initiated against those violating these instructions as it amounts to unbecoming conduct attracting the provisions of Rule 4
