DC TUENSANG DIRECTS SHOPKEEPERS/BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS

Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued orders on 10th August 2020 that the drivers /handymen / passengers of trucks bringing in essential commodities to Tuensang Town are de - boarding from their vehicles and mixing with the local population. And despite repeated directions to shopkeepers /business establishments to ensure that no drivers /handyman /Passengers of trucks de - board from their vehicles while unloading of goods, this unsafe practice remains unchecked.

TOTAL LOCKDOWN ETENDED FOR ONE WEEK AT ABOI

The total lockdown which was imposed on 4th to 10th August 2020 has been extended for another 7th days in the 11th to 17th August 2020.Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has informed that the public movement shall remain strictly prohibited except on medical emergencies.

COVID-19 POSITIVE CASE AREAS SEALED AT MERAPANI VILLAGE, UNDER WOKHA DISTRICT

Invoking Section 30 (1), (2) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, and for Public health and safety measure, following the detection of one COVID-19 Positive person at Zunheboto from Merapani village, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari, Tiameren Chang NCS, through an order dated the 9th August, 2020 had declared six colonies of Merapani Village (Marachu Yan) under Bhandari Sub-division, as Sealed Areas.

DC KOHIMA NOTIFIES

Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has notified that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at the following location viz. Mima Village, the areas defined below are demarcated as SEALED AREA in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.

All movement of person/vehicles within the defined Sealed Area is strictly restricted/prohibited and under active surveillance with immediate effect.
