“A meeting of the High Powered Committee on COVID-19 was held today under the Chairmanship of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Nagaland with the Co-Chairman, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister along with the Members; the Hon’ble Minister, Health & FW, Hon’ble Minister, Planning, LR & Parliamentary Affairs, Chief Secretary and senior officials of the State Government.

DC KOHIMA INFORMS

Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has informed that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at Seikhazou Colony Kohima, the area defined below is demarcated as Sealed Area in order to contain the spread of disease/infection and to expedite necessary contact tracing of the infected person.

DC KOHIMA ALLOWS NORMAL ACTIVITIES AT DAKLANE

With the detection of Covid-19 Positive person at Daklane Colony Kohima, Municipal Ward No. 7, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner had declared/demarcated it as a containment zone on 7th July 2020, whereby various restrictions were imposed to contain the spread of disease/infection and the zone/area was kept under strict and active Medical surveillance and movement within the zone was restricted/prohibited to the public.

In consideration of the internet connectivity issues and the inability of Primary Section students, particularly from the remote areas to access the Online Education, Principal Director School Education Shanavas C, IAS has issued the following directives to Head of Institutions of all Govt.
