In the interest of public health and safety and as a measure of abundant caution in view of prevailing COVID-19 situation, the Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has issued orders on 18th August 2020 and the following houses are sealed till further order. No unauthorised entry/exit to/from the sealed houses shall be allowed during the sealed period.

SDO (C) & Administrator Noklak Town Council, Noklak, C. Phuniang, NCS in an order issued on 17th September 2020 stated that, basing on the meeting minutes of the District Task Force on Covid-19 held on 11th September 2020, all concerned have been that unregulated disposal of used safety kits like masks, hand sanitizer container, hand gloves/PPE kits have potential of causing adverse long term hazard to health and environment.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS in an order stated that with reference to the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) issued by the Village Councils/Councils of T. Khel, P. Khel, D. Khel, L. Khel, Phesama, Meriema, Pfuchama, Jotsoma, Thizama and Kigwema, it is informed to the public that any new developments along the RoW of the proposed 2-Lane Kohima-Bypass Road Project should not be undertaken by any individual/clans/groups/organizations.

The Transport Department has informed that in the interest of Public Service, the Government of Nagaland has notified that the Central Government vide Notification No.GSR.1361(E) dated 02/11/2017 under Rule 138A of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 has made mandatory the fitment of FASTag on all motor vehicles under category M and N sold on or after 1st December 2017.

EAC (Dev), Wokha, Imtinungula Longkumer has informed that as decided during the District convergence Action Plan committee on Poshan Maah 2020 and as per the Poshan Maah Action Plan 2020 for Wokha district, there will be a mass social work for all the Government Institutions/Offices/Anganwadi Centers on the 19th Sept 2020 from 7:00AM to 9:00 AM. All Head of Departments have been therefore requested to supervise the Social work in their respective Offices and Institutions without fail.
