Security Co-ordination meeting headed by the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DTF for COVID-19, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha was held on 11th August 2020 at his Official chamber.
Superintendent of Police Wokha, Imtitoshi, Col. K.S Gill Commandant 40th Assam Rifles and IO SIB, Wokha Sukupu Sema also attended the meeting.
The Bhandari Town Lotha Hoho, Bhandari Students Union and Bhandari Town Eloe Hoho had a co-ordination meeting on 13th August 2020 and made a joint resolution for the interest of the general public.
As a precautionary measure, due to the detection of COVID-19 positive person at Zunheboto from Merapani village and ongoing active surveillance and contact tracing by the concerned Department.
The University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has issued a notification that many of the universities/ colleges/ institutes collect the original academic certificates, mark-sheets etc. at the time of issuing employment contracts of the teachers and then continue to retain those documents with them.

“A total of 50 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today and the total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 3,168. The positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is also in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.
The state level function of the 74th Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2020 at the Secretariat Plaza, Kohima will be streamed live at MyGovNagaland Facebook and YouTube channel from 9:00 AM onwards.
