The National Education policy (NEP) 2020 has given utmost importance on the concept of skills development and one of the main thrust is on vocational education. The Nagaland Board of School Education in order to acquaint the schools with current policies in vocational education, is organizing a Webinar on 'Vocational Education and NEP 2020’ with Dr. VinaySwarupMehrotra on 7th September, 2021 at 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Dr. V.S. Mehrotra is Professor and Head of Curriculum Development and Evaluation Centre (CDEC), and Centre for International Relationship at the PanditSunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE) Bhopal, a constituent unit of National council of Educational Research & Training, which is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

He has been actively involved with the Ministry of Education in the development and implementation of National Skill qualification Framework. He is working as the project coordinator of Ministry of Education funded projects under SamagraShiksha for Development of vocational curricula and courseware for classes IX to XII.

The Heads of registered institutions have been requested to attend the webinar positively.
