The 16 days of Activism against Gender Based Violence and International Human Rights Day 2025 was held at DPDB Hall, Kiphire on 10th December 2025, under the Theme "Human Rights : Our Everyday Essentials".

The programme was organized by the District Administration and Mission Shakti featuring thematic message and special address. The event aims to strengthen public awareness, reaffirm community responsibility and enhanced co-ordinate efforts towards holistic support for human rights.

The Panel discussion on Strengthening District system for prevention of Violence against Women and Girls was held with the panelists of the program - Ripise, BPM, NSRLM, Kiphire Block; Lithsa, Lihpikihna Org; Berela, District Project Associate, Kiphire and Nancy Sangtam, Associate Secretary, Christian Education USBLA.

Welcome address was delivered by EAC, Kiphire, Takatemjen Pongen, who stressed to help and to end Violence against Women and Girls. Pledge was administered by Asheto, Accounts Assistant, Mission Shakti (DHEW), Kiphire.

All the concerned departments, institutions, organizations and committee members attended the programme. Vote of thanks was proposed by the moderator of the program Tsosingthsi, Counsellor OSC, Kiphire.
