DC KOHIMA ISSUES ADVISORY ON SELLING GOVERNMENT LAND/PROPERTY

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS in an Advisory stated that some unscrupulous elements are engaged in selling Government land/property to unsuspecting victims. He, therefore, informed the general public that all such transactions are illegal and void, and illegal occupants shall be evicted and structures demolished at the expense of the evictee. Further, legal action shall be initiated against both the seller and buyer under the relevant section of the law.

TRAVEL ADVISORY AT CHANGTONGYA-LONGLENG ROAD

In view of the partial clearance of the landslide debris on NH-702, Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) are now allowed to pass through the Changtongya-Longleng road from 6 AM to 6 PM w.e.f. 21/06/2023. The drivers of such vehicles have been advised to exercise utmost caution while passing through the affected area and avoid taking this route at the time of bad Weather/Foggy Conditions/Heavy rainfall.
