WINNERS OF FOLK SONG COMPETITION
Pertaining to the “Online Folk Song Competition” under the Banner ‘AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV’ with the Theme: ‘Unity through Folk-Song’ held on 24th May 2023, the Department of Art and Culture Nagaland has declared the following groups as the winners: 1st Prize: Aheo Sutsa, Thahekhu Village Block-7. 2nd Prize: Elixir Band Wokha Village, Wokha Village.
MASS SOCIAL WORK IN TUENSANG ON 23rd JUNE
Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has notified that Mass Social work is to be conducted on 23rd June 2023 from 8:00 AM onwards, the work distribution along the specified stretch is assigned to the Heads of the Offices as mentioned in the work distribution below.
SP LONGLENG INFORMS ON ALLEGED FOOD POISONING
On 16 -06-23 at around 1100 Hrs, information was received from sources that an incident of mass food poisoning happened among some villagers of Pongching, Longleng. It was further informed that some of the patients were admitted to District Hospital Longleng. On receiving information, SP Longleng, OC Police proceeded to District Hospital Longleng for preliminary enquiry.
DC WOKHA ON REMOVAL OF UNAUTHORIZED STRUCTURES
Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan notified that, in continuation of the order even number dated 18th April and 29th May 2023 and on the expiry of the notice for removal of unauthorized structures within the stipulated period, the unauthorized structures shall be removed by use of force on 19th June 2023.
TRAINING HELD ON FISHERIES AT LONGLENG
A training programme was organized by the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources at Tamlu block Longleng district on 16th June 2023 under Education, Training and Extension Program. Altogether there were 30 trainees.
