Deputy Commissioner Kohima Shanavas C has informed the general public that due to the encroachment of the National Highways by Street Vendors, hawkers, etc.

A two-day orientation workshop for the State of Nagaland on Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) 2022 kicked started on the 13th January 2023 at the Conference Hall, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima.

The Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021 for fixing accountability of the School Management in the matter of the Safety of Children studying in all schools including both Government and Private Schools in Nagaland notified by the Government of Nagaland vide Notification No. DSE/MISC/SAFETY/12-12/2022 Dated 29th November 2022 have come into force from the date of issue of the aforementioned notification by the Government.  

DC Kohima Shanavas C, in a circular, has informed the general public and parents under Kohima District that the online registration for appearing in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for the Session 2023-2024 for Class VI will be conducted on 29th April 2023 and the last date for submission of application is 31st January 2023. In this regard, DC Kohima has informed all the interested candidates to do the same as per the notification served.

            In view of the forthcoming General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, training for District Level Master Trainers (DLMT) will be held from 17th to 18th January 2023 at DC’s conference hall and DPDB hall, District Planning Machinery DC office Kohima.

Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Zunheboto In a circular stated that in view of the Conduct of General Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, a coordination meeting is convened on 19th January 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Town Hall Zunheboto.
