DC PEREN PROHIBITS PLYING OF HEAVY VEHICLES

            DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS has informed that in view of the ongoing work on "Upgradation of Road from Mhaikam to Jalukie", the plying of heavy vehicles including timber-loaded trucks along this road (Mhaikam-Pimla-Mhainamtsi) shall be prohibited, w.e.f. 1st February to 31st March, 2021, in order to facilitate completion of the road upgradation.

NATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY OBSERVED IN MON

Mon District Administration in collaboration with DLCW-MSK & Sakhi-OSC observed a week-long celebration of National Girl Child Day (24th January) from the 21st to 26th January 2021. 

The celebration witnessed activities and competitions across the District. Details of the activities are as follows:

21st January: Grandmother granddaughter selfie competition.  Girl Clubs with 10 members from 8 schools were formed and provided with hats and badges at Aboi.
