Jio has joined the world-famous Hornbill Festival this year also as the digital partner, in association with the Department of Tourism and Information Technology & Communication, Government of Nagaland. This is the 6th year of Jio’s association with the Hornbill Festival which is held at the Naga Heritage Village Kisama.
GO-TAXI SERVICE APP DEVELOPED FOR ONLINE TAXI BOOKINGS
The Transport Department, Government of Nagaland, has informed that inorder to facilitate smooth travel of passengers during the Hornbill Festival 2022, the Government has identified additional 100 four wheeler taxis and 50 two wheeler taxis with Drivers information, registered in the Go-Taxi Service App for online taxi bookings.
JIO TO PROVIDE FREE WI-FI AT THE HORNBILL FESTIVAL 2022
Jio, the official media partner of the Hornbill Festival 2022, will be providing free wifi service to all visitors during the Hornbill Festival at Kisama Heritage Village from 1st – 10th Dec, 2022. In addition, Jio will be providing high speed internet broadband at the Media Felicitation Centre at Kisama including dedicated line for live streaming and CCTVs for security alert at the Media Centre.
ADC MANGKOLEMBA BANS HUNTING
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mangkolemba, T. Lankonsen Tsanglao has informed to all villages under Mangkolemba Sub-Division that hunting of all kind has been outlawed under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972, and the killing of migratory birds such as the famed Amur Falcon passing through the sub-division will attract penal action.

MULTI MEDIA EXHIBITION ON AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV
A Multi Media exhibition on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav will be put up at the World War II Museum campus, Kisama from 1st to 10th December 2022. The exhibition will showcase the important events and personalities of India’s freedom struggle and also the Central Government’s eight years of service, good governance and welfare of poor. Photographs will be displayed in both standard and digital mediums.
