BRIEFING ON COVID-19 ON 6thJUNE 2020 FOR NAGALAND BY THE PRINCIPAL SECRETARY, HOME

“Today 13 new cases have been tested positive for COVID-19. The total positive cases in the state as of today now stands at 107.
Out of the 107 positive cases, 8 have recovered after treatment in COVID-19 hospital.
REPORT ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN
Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha informed that no violation of the lockdown was reported in the State as on 6th June 2020. While issuing the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services, he added that no Law & Order incident has been reported.

DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS has issue the following directives for general information of all concerned.
STATE GOVT SPONSORS SPECIAL BUS FOR STRANDED FROM MP
A special bus sponsored by Nagaland Government carrying 34 stranded persons of Nagaland, including an infant, departed from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh this evening, the 6th June 2020 and is expected to reach Dimapur on 8th June 2020.
Earlier, another special bus brought 41 Nagaland stranded persons from Himachal Pradesh which departed with seven persons from there who were stranded in Nagaland.

60 RETURNEES RECEIVED AND 14 SENT FOR HOME QUARANTINE IN LONGLENG
Altogether 112 returnees including drivers have been quarantined in 7 (seven) Quarantine Centers under Longleng till 6th of June 2020. The seven Quarantine Centers namely Lempong Schools, RUSA Boys hostel Yingli College, Yingli College, Girls hostel (UGC) Yingli College, Girls hostel (DUDA) Yingli College, Shamakok School (for Drivers) and Industries staffs quarter (for Medical Personnel) has a total capacity of 207 bed-wise.
