The District Administration and District Election Office, in collaboration with Tuensang District Badminton Association, will be organizing an Inter-High School Badminton Tournament from 28th-29th July 2023.

The District Administration, District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), and One Stop Centre (OSC) in Longleng will be observing the "World Day Against Trafficking in Persons" on 29th July 2023. The event will be held at VDB Hall, Longleng, under the theme "Reach Every Woman of Trafficking: Leave No One Behind."

In response to multiple landslides caused by heavy monsoon rains and the potential for further landslides, a total restriction on the movement of all kinds of vehicles, including Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs), along the Longleng-Changtongya Road has been imposed for a period of thirty-six (36) hours. The restriction will be in effect from 23rd July 2023 (Sunday) 6 A.M.

The State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (SCPD) has initiated a Suo Motu Inquiry directed at the Municipal Affairs Department regarding the implementation of the 5% reservation for persons with disabilities in Housing Schemes within the State.

In light of positive cases of Lumpy Skin Disease (LDS) detected in four districts of the state, Nagaland has been officially declared as a Lumpy Skin Disease (LDS) positive state.
