A one-day Farm Machinery Distribution Programme under the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM), Component-8, for the year 2026–2027 was held at the District Agriculture Office, Shamator, on 24th July 2026.

The District Transport Office, Tuensang has notified that in compliance with the Emergency Demolition order No.DC-TSG/DDMA/2021-22/308 dated 23-07-2026, issued by the Deputy Commissioner & Chairman DDMA Tuensang, declaring the office building of the District Transport Officer, Tuensang as structurally unsafe and prone to collapse due to incessant rainfall and landslides and directing its emergency demolition to avert disaster.
