District Task Force Zunheboto, in a notification, informed that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package, Insurance Scheme for Health Workers fighting COVID-19 has been extended for a period of 180 days from 19th April 2022, on existing terms and conditions keeping in view that the pandemic is yet to abate and that death of health workers deployed for COVID-19 related duties are still reported.<

In commemoration of the 75th year of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” (North East Festival 2022), the Wokha District administration in coordination with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports organized a walkathon from police point to PWD Junction, Tsumang colony, and culminated at Deputy Commissioner Office Wokha on 2nd May 2022.

The 25th Silver Jubilee celebration of the Lotha Eloe Hoho culminated on the 29th of April 2022 at Tiyi hall, Wokha.

Commemorating 75th years of Independence, “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, the department of Health & Family Welfare, Wokha conducted a block level health mela for Wokha Sadar block on 30th April 2022 at Likya Community Hall.

A one-day Block Health Mela was organised at CHC Chozuba on 30th April 2022. The medical team with doctors with different speciality was lead by Senior Medical Officer, CHC Chozuba, Dr Imchatoshi.

In Commemorating of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a health mela was held at Tening Community Health Center on 30th April 2020.
