A video conference was conducted by the Election Commission of India with Nodal officers of Election Expenditure Monitoring for the forthcoming General Election to Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 on 19th December 2022. The video conference was chaired by Deputy Election Commissioner, ECI Ajay Bhadoo. It was a preliminary review of the preparedness of various Law Enforcement Agencies for Election Monitoring.

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has issued the Scheme Guidelines on the "Scheme of Financial Assistance for administering Road Safety Advocacy and awards for the outstanding work done in the field of Road Safety" vide letter No. RT-25035/38/2021-RS (196434) Dated 21st September 2021, which shall remain in operation till 31.03.2026.

This is for information to all concerned that the 21st of December, which is a Wednesday and a non-transaction day, has been declared as transaction day in both the State Treasuries and Banks in the State to make it convenient to accommodate all pending releases of funds before the Winter holidays.

The State Government implemented the Chief Minister's Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) by extending Health Insurance to all State Government employees and their dependents on 1st October 2022.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of the Nagaland Goods and Services Tax (Sixth Amendment) Ordinance, 2022 (5 of 2022), the State Government has appointed the 1st day of October 2022, as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 14, except clause (c) of section 11 and section 12, of the said Ordinance shall come into force.

This Notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 1st day of October 2022.
