Basing on the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) issued by the respective Village Councils / Councils of P. Khel, D. Khel, L. Khel, Thizama, Pfuchama, Phesama and Kigwema, the Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Mohammed Ali Shihab A IAS has informed to all concerned that any new development along the RoW of the proposed 2-Lane Kohima - Bypass Road Project (2nd & 3rd Package) should "not" be undertaken by any individual/clan/groups/organisations.

“A total of ­157 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 30 in Kohima, 119 in Dimapur, 1 in Mon, 3 in Peren, 2 in Mokokchung and 2 in Kiphire. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 8,296.
