CULMINATION PROGRAMME OF DEEPER PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT AND CONSULTATION UNDER NCAP, 2023-24

The District Administration, Kohima organized the Culmination Programme of Deeper Public Engagement and Consultation (Workshops and Programmes in Colleges) under the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) 2023-24 at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima on the 25th of April, 2024. It may be stated that District Administration organized a series of awareness programmes, lectures and competitions in Kohima College and Sazolie College in collaboration with Zub-Zub India since 21st of February, 2024.

During the Culmination Programme, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima urged the students of both colleges to be agents of change in protecting the environment. Cash awards with certificates and consolation prizes were handed out to the winners of Video Reel Making Competition. Over 2.3 lakhs sharing of Video Reels made by students of Kohima College and Sazolie College was recorded on instagram as measures of awareness and engagement with the public. Further, to promote and continue awareness activities, By-Cycles and Waste Bins were handed over to the NSS of Sazolie College and Friends with Nature Club of Kohima College. The Deeper Public Engagement Programme was a grand success with outreach to a large audience within and outside Kohima district.
