DC & DEO WOKHA HOLDS REVIEW MEETING WITH NODAL OFFICERS

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS held a meeting with all the nodal officers to review the preparedness status undertaken by the committees for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming general election to the 18th Lok Sabha election 2024 at Deputy Commissioner’s office chamber, Wokha on 9th April 2024. The meeting focused on the smooth planning process of all electioneering process and to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the forthcoming Lok Sabha election 2024.

During the meeting, all the concerned nodal officers briefed the arrangement/activities undertaken by the committees including personnel/manpower management, EVM/VVPAT, transportation management, polling personnel’s, mess/food, road maintenance, logistic, security arrangement, dispatch and finalization of all necessary arrangement.

After reviewing the preparedness status carried out by various committees, the DC & DEO urged all concerned to perform their assigned responsibilities with outmost sincerity and dedication for the successful and smooth conduct of the electioneering process.

Apart from all the other arrangements made, the Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer further informed the department of PWD (Road & Bridges) for placement of machineries at strategic location for clearance of roads to ensure that polling personnel and security personnel reaches their respective place of polling stations on time without any hindrance.
