DC & DEO Peren, Vineet Kumar has informed all concerned that as per Section 126 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the campaigning period for General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 shall come to end w.e.f 4:00 PM - 25/02/2023 and that there is a prohibition of public meeting during forty-eight hours ending with the hour fixed for conclusion of poll.

Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Noklak K. Mhathung Tsanglao notified for the general information of all concerned that as per Section 126 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the campaigning period for General Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, 2023 shall come to end w. e. f.

In pursuance of Section 130, 134 B of the Representation of People Act, 1951, and the other guidelines issued by ECI, DC & DEO Peren, Vineet Kumar has ordered that:

As per the directives from the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nagaland, the Deputy commissioner & DEO Kiphire T Wati Aier has informed all the political party candidates and political functionaries that the campaigning period for the Assembly Elections will come to an end w.e.f 4:00 pm on 25th February 2023.

DC & DEO Peren, Vineet Kumar has informed all concerned that as the campaigning period for the General Election to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023 is about to end, the vigilance through FST and SST has been increased. Hence, anybody carrying cash exceeding Rs. 50,000/- should also carry all supporting documents along with it.

The Election Commission of India has appointed Daljit Singh IAS as the General observer for 1-Dimapur-I, 2-Dimapur-II, and 3-Dimapur-III in connection to the ensuing General Elections to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
