In pursuance of Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy Order No. F 1-23/2023-NAT dated 23rd June 2023, the web portal for online self-nomination by teachers is open from 23-06-2023 and the last date of submission is 15-07-2023. The condition of eligibility of teachers for consideration of the National Teachers Award is revised to 10 years of regular service.

The District Sports Office Kohima and Tseminyu in collaboration with the concerned District Sports Association will be conducting Under-14 Taekwondo Tournament (Boys & Girls) cum selection on 14th & 15th July 2023 respectively.

In a drive carried out jointly by District Administration, Police, and Drug Control Office Peren in Jalukie town on 30th June 2023. A total of 216 bottles of restricted drugs containing codeine phosphate were seized from three (3) pharmacies which were later closed down.
