Referring to the recent statements brought to the notice of the Government through local news dailies that the Nagaland In-Service Doctors Association (NIDA) has called upon its members to proceed on indefinite strike from the 28 October 2022 in pursuance of its demands for increase in superannuation age from 60 to 62 years, the Government has invited attention to Rule 25 of the Nagaland Government Servants Conduct Rules,

With reference to the call for indefinite strike by NIDA from 28th October 2022, it is brought to notice that government has issued OM NO.HFW(A)- 12/129/2021/526.dated 28th October 2022 wherein instructions have been issued to the Principal Director, DHFW, and the Chief Medical Officers and Medical Superintendents in the State, for not sanctioning any leave to any Government Medical Officer or health care professionals.

Attention is invited to Nagaland Government Servant (Conduct) Rules, 1968, that prohibits government servants from broadcasting or publishing or any communication to the press or public utterance of any statement of fact or opinion not connected with discharge of official duty, without prior government sanction.

Tuensang District 4th inter-departmental Sports meet started on 3rd November 2022 at Badminton Stadium Tuensang and Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS was the special guest of the occasion.
