The Directorate of Higher Education Has notified that the Scheme Implementing Agency has highlighting some of the changes that have been done by the Funding Agency. Students, Educational Institutions and Hostels that deals with Post Matric Scholarship for ST students are to take note of the following Changes:

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Shanavas C IAS in an Advisory stated that some unscrupulous elements are engaged in selling Government land/property to unsuspecting victims. He, therefore, informed the general public that all such transactions are illegal and void, and illegal occupants shall be evicted and structures demolished at the expense of the evictee. Further, legal action shall be initiated against both the seller and buyer under the relevant section of the law.

In view of the partial clearance of the landslide debris on NH-702, Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) are now allowed to pass through the Changtongya-Longleng road from 6 AM to 6 PM w.e.f. 21/06/2023. The drivers of such vehicles have been advised to exercise utmost caution while passing through the affected area and avoid taking this route at the time of bad Weather/Foggy Conditions/Heavy rainfall.

District Employment Officer Dimapur, Gideon L Sumi has informed that the 'JOB FAIR' is scheduled to be held on 22nd June 2023 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, jointly organized by District Employment Exchange, Dimapur in collaboration with National Career Services Centre for SC/ST Kohima and National Career Services Centre (differently-abled) Dimapur at District Employment Exchange Office Building, Zion Hospital Road, Purana Bazaar Dimapur.
