Deputy Commissioner, Longleng has notified that the Election Commission of India Letter No.64/LET/ECI/(TERR)/NL-LA/NES-1/2023 dated 9th February 2023 & Chief Electoral Officer No.ELE/CDT-93/2019/682 dated 10th February 2023, has approved the proposal for re-location of polling station No.1 Ladigarh of 49 Tamlu (ST) Assembly Constituency in Longleng.

On 13th February 2023, the BLOs of 58th AC Shamator-Chessore held a briefing from Bodi Kafu R.O. Shamator about the systematic and smooth functioning of the coming election. Thsuvisie Phoji Deputy Commissioner Shamator also urged all the respective BLOs to be more responsible and attentive in managing electoral processes and also urged that all senior citizens and Differently Abled persons should be taken care of with utmost care. 

District Welfare Officer, Peren, I.Tsungrosongla Ao in a circular, has mentioned that the payment of pension under NSAP Scheme for six (6) months for those beneficiaries under non-DBT list will be disbursed through cash payment.

DC & DEO, Phek, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has informed all the Booth Level Officers under Phek district, that simultaneous training of BLOs, Webcasting and Offline Videography Operators will be held at Phek HQ on 13th February (Monday) 2023 at Town Hall, Phek Town.

A training for maintenance of Accounts of Election Expenditure by the contesting candidates/election agents was conducted on 11th February 2023 at Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall, Kohima.

A Consultative meeting with the candidates or agents/representatives was held at Conference Hall, DC's Office, Mokokcung on 10th February 2023 in the presence of the General Election Observer for the 27 AC and 28 AC Mokokchung.
