In pursuance to the directives of the State Government and as decided by the Kohima District Task Force on COVID-19 during its meeting held on 29th, the Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie NCS has issued the following directives for strict compliance of all concerned in Kohima District in order to control the spread of Covid-19.

In view of the detection of COVID-19 positive persons and in order to take preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, ADC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang has ordered the sealing of the following buildings from 28th April, 2021 till further order:

Joint Director (HoD) cum CEO NEMRS Management Society, Directorate of Tribal Affairs, I Sino Phom has informed all the candidates that the personal interview for recruitment of Multitasking Assistant, Security and Mali under various EMRSs in the State, which is scheduled to be conducted on 29 and 30 April 2021 has been postponed until further order.

In order to facilitate the progress of the four lane construction works and in the interest of public safety, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has notifies that there will be total restriction of all movement from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai junction) to Kukidolong Village on the following days/time.

In pursuance to the provisions of the RTE Act, 2009 and NEP, 2020, The Directorate of School Education has informed that admission to Class 1 shall be provided to children in the age group of 6+ years.

Further, admission to Pre-school/anganwadi/balvatika shall be provided to children in the age group of 3-6 years.
