DC DIMAPUR CONVENES MEETING

DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has convened a meeting of District Task Force to discuss matters relating to COVID-19 pandemic in Dimapur District at DC's conference hall on 18th May 2020. All the concerned members of the District Task Force, Dimapur have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.

DC TUENSANG BANS SALE OF PAAN AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang Kumar Ramnikant IAS, in the interest of public health and safety, has banned the sale and consumption of paan, gutka and tobacco products. It also stated that spitting in public places and institutions under Tuensang district is strictly prohibited as a preventive measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 infections.

DC LONGLENG INFORMS ON REQUISITION FOR QUARANTINE CENTRE

Since it has become imperative for the district to setup additional quarantine centre to accommodate the stranded people coming from other state the RUSA Boy's hostel, Yingli College, Longleng has been requisitioned as quarantine centre by the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng M. Shayung Phom according to the Nagaland Epidemic Disease (COVID-19) Regulation 2020 under the Epidemic Disease Act of 1897.
