LAW & ORDER SITUATION REPORT

State Emergency Operation Centre Control room COVID-19 Government of Nagaland Home Department has issued the report on Law & Order across the state as on 18th May, 2020.  Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland   Hiazu Meru stated that 6(Six) persons violated the Lock down process and 6 (Six) persons were bound down and from various sections fine imposed under MV Act =Rs, 34,700.

Vice Chancellor, Nagaland University (A Central University), Prof. Pardeshi Lal has directed to conduct Online of 29th  Academic Council Meeting on 20th May, 2020 at 12:00 Noon.This was necessitated due to the current pandemic situation with travel restrictions and prohibition of large gatherings.

ALL RETURNESS TO UNDERGO 14 DAYS INSTITUTIONAL QUARANTINE

Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy IAS on 18th May 2020 has issued an order with partial modification of the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) whereby all persons entering the State from 18th May 2020 onwards, irrespective of place of origin of journey shall undergo 14 (fourteen) days Institutional Quarantine at designated centres and thereafter proceed for 14(fourteen) days mandatory Home Quarantine.

DC Longleng has informed to all the village council chairmen and ward president of Longleng Town to report about the arrival of new person/persons in their respective jurisdiction to (Covid-19) War Room (9612338646/7085961147), as it is anticipated that they will be coming from the Red Zone which is highly vulnerable for infection of Covid-19.
