DC LONGLENG BANS SLAUGHTER OF CATTLES ETC
In connection with report of the death of animals such as Mithun, cattles, goats in some parts of the district and suspected to be an outbreak of Anthrax which is zoonotic and possess public health hazard the Deputy Commissioner Longleng, M. Shayung Phom has informed in an order that selling/slaughter of mithun, cattles, goat and import of the aforementioned animals is banned in the district with immediate effect until further order.

Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS notified that a Video Conference (Zoom) on the topic "Experience with COVID-19 Positive Patients on ground" was held from 6:30 PM on 6th May 2020 in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mon between Dr. Gunjan & Dr. Bharat from Mumbai and the Medical Officers & Doctors of District Hospital, Mon.
RELOCATION EXERCISE OF STRANDED PEOPLE IN KOHIMA DAY 6 REPORT
On 12th May 2020, the sixth day of the transportation exercise altogether 22 buses carrying 560 stranded persons departed from Kohima to various districts in the State. Out of the 22 buses 13 buses went to Tuensang, 3 buses to Noklak, 2 buses to Dimapur (Assam) and 4 buses to Kiphire.
DIMAPUR POLICE PENALISES 746 VEHICLES
On the 1st day of odd and even number exercise for regulating traffic in Dimapur, Police has penalised 746 vehicles and realised Rs. 1,41,050 ( one lakh forty one thousand and fifty) from defaulters, to be deposited as Government revenue.
