A total of 50 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today- 42 in Dimapur, 7 in Kohima and 1 in Mon. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 4,178. Active surveillance and contact tracing is also in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

On completion of 14 (fourteen) days sealing period as well as completion of all contract tracing and testing, the Deputy Commissioner & District Task Force on COVID-19, Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, has issued a order on 6th September 2020 and has lifted the sealing of all the below mentioned houses /business establishments with immediate effect.

SPELLING BEE COMPETITION TO BE HELD AT LONGLENG
The District Task Force Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and MSK-DLCW Longleng will be conducting SPELLING BEE competition in view of World International Literacy Day on 8th September 2020 at DC conference hall Longleng at 11:00 am. Therefore the teachers in charge have been requested to nominate two girls students each from every institution to participate in the said competition.
