The District Task force (Covid-19) held meeting on 16 April, at the DPDB hall, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & chairperson (DTF) Kiphire Sarita Yadav IAS.

Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K,IAS issued an order in view of the active case detected in Dimapur, some of the areas at Dimapur like Marwari Patti, Ghorapatty including Zion Hospital have been sealed.

DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has informed all concerned that in view of the sealing of Marwari Patty, Murgi Patty and GS Road as a containment measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the existing vegetables/fruits Wholesale Market of Murgi Patti will be shifted to Naga Shopping Arcade (Super Market) for its operation w.e.f 18th April 2020 from 6:00 AM to 12 noon, mandatorily keeping social distance as per norms of COVID-19.

There appears to be a misinterpretation of the advisory issued vide No.DHFW/COVID- 19/2019-20/129-37 dated Kohima, the 10th April 2020 especially with reference to point no.1 "No hospital based personnel are to enter the office premises. Instead of Physical visits, they are advised to leverage electronic means of communications including webinar."
