The Director Youth Resources and Sports, Akumla Chuba has informed that in continuation to the department’s earlier letter NO.DYRS/Sports-Cash Award/9/2016 dated 30.11.2019, the department has informed that the period for invitation of application of eligible candidates winning medals under recognized disciplines in the North East, National and International Levels during 2018-19 is extended from 01.07.2020 till 15.07.2020.

Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has informed that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at Seikhazou Colony Kohima, the area defined below is demarcated as Sealed Area in order to contain the spread of disease/infection and to expedite necessary contact tracing of the infected person.
DC KOHIMA ALLOWS NORMAL ACTIVITIES AT DAKLANE
With the detection of Covid-19 Positive person at Daklane Colony Kohima, Municipal Ward No. 7, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner had declared/demarcated it as a containment zone on 7th July 2020, whereby various restrictions were imposed to contain the spread of disease/infection and the zone/area was kept under strict and active Medical surveillance and movement within the zone was restricted/prohibited to the public.
