STATE ROUNDUP ON COVID-19 FOR 15TH APRIL 2020

Abhijit Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, issued the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services for the 15th of April, 2020. According to the report, 3 violations of the lockdown were reported and subsequently, 3 people were arrested. No Law and Order incident has been reported in the State.

SAYO ISSUE DIRECTIVES ON VEHICULAR MOVEMENT ALONG NH-29

The Southern Angami Youth Organisation has informed all vehicular movements along NH-29 to strictly adhere to the earlier notification issued, i.e 7 pm to 12 am towards Dimapur and from 7pm to 5 am towards Manipur for those carrying essential commodities of Manipur, in order to avoid unwanted incident under its jurisdiction.

DC DIMAPUR WARNS DEFAULTERS

Despite repeated orders issued by Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, it has been reported that some villages are barring entry to medical personnel, persons on emergency duty in the wake of COVID-19 and also staff and patients of Zion hospital Dimapur.

STATE GOVERNMENT NOTIFIES ON CONTAINMENT MEASURES

The Lockdown has been extended across the State with all the existing containment measures upto 3rd May 2020 vide Order of even number, Dated 14th April 2020;

The Government of India Ministry of Home Affairs Order NO. 40-3/2020- DM-I(A), dated 15th April 2020 has ordered for certain additional measures for containment of COVID-19 epidemic in die country which will come into force with immediate effect;
