The District Task Force led by DC Mon Thavaseelan K and Empowered Group has adopted the COVID-19'Adaptive Response Model/'Care' model to fight COVID-19 by bringing about change in behaviour and inculcating habits like 'social distancing' and improving personal hygiene among people. This model has been brought out as a long term strategy so that health and livelihood can go hand and hand.

Mon district task force led by Thavaseelan K, DC Mon has notified that two committees to revive the economy of Mon district, ‘the committees in creation of livelihood opportunities’ would look into creating job opportunities for returnees and enhancing the local economy of Mon district.

The monthly meeting of Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board for the month of July was held on 16 July 2020 at DC conference hall. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice chairman DPDB, Peter Lichamo. Deputy Commissioner welcomed the new chairman of Zunheboto District planning and development board and Advisor School Education K.T. Sukhalu and Advisor for Food and civil supplies and LM & CP Pukhayi Sumi including new members to the board.
