In view of the implementation of the ‘Nagaland Epidemic Diseases (COVID-19) regulations 2020’ and conferred under the Epidemic Diseases Act 1897, Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Limawapang Jamir has informed that any vehicles (Both private/Govt.) will be requisitioned for any emergency situation in the district arising due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Joint Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru issued the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential goods and services regarding COVID-19 lock down across the State as on 11th May 2020.

Wokha District Task Force held an emergency meeting to discuss the matter regarding the arrival of the stranded student’s and persons from outside the State and other important issues on COVID-19 at the DC’s conference hall, Wokha on 12th May 2020.
