The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Mokokchung in collaboration with the District Agriculture Office, Mokokchung and ATMA Mokokchung conducted awareness programme on the existing COVID-19 pandemic to farmers in five (5) villages under Mokokchung district during the COVID -19 lockdown period.

Altogether 623 stranded people left for their own district from Dimapur on 8th May 2020. All the stranded people were ferried by buses, arranged by district administration after going through all the procedures such as medical screening.

DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS informed that in view of the imposition of Nation lockdown and closure of schools, the District administration Mon with due concern for the academic session of Secondary School students will be uploading videos with weekly assignments in its youtube channel, "Deputy Commissioner Mon" from 4th May 2020 onwards.

The office of the Deputy Commissioner has notified all stranded migrant labourers in the district to compulsorily register their names and submit relevant document at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Zunheboto latest by 15th of May, 2020.

Deputy Commissioner Dimapur Anoop Kinchi, IAS convened a meeting of the District Task Force Dimapur to discuss issues pertaining to COVID-19, in the conference Hall of DC Dimapur on 9th May 2020.

DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has informed all concerned that all hardware shops in Dimapur District will be permitted to open from 5am to 9am with effect from 11th May 2020.
