The Special Drive on Covid-19 organised by the Department of Horticulture was held at Walo Guest House, Mon on 6th May 2020. Additional Secretary Horticulture, Zarenthung Ezung and Deputy Director Horticulture, Meyashi held a meeting with District Horticulture Officer, Mon and staff amid when everything has come to a standstill and everyone has been exposed to the harsh reality due to Covid-19.
44 PERSONS TRANSIT TO KOHIMA, DIMAPUR FROM KIPHIRE
Taking a breather from Pandemic Covid-19 Lock down for 40 days, forty four stranded/stressed persons from Kiphire have been transported to Kohima and Dimapur on 7thMay 2020, in accordance with the Government notification issued for transition of people within the state.

DC TUENSANG PERMITS LOCAL TAXIS TO PLY
In pursuance to the order received from the Office of the Chief Secretary Nagaland, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued an order to all concerned that local Taxis are permitted to ply within Tuensang district with the condition that they carry not more than two passengers. Both the driver and passengers should wear masks.
